I have the same setup here. I did *not* install it myself but was directly
involved (I am root). We had troubles getting it to run until we :
- Made the majordomo home dir owned by majordomo and group majordom.
- Made the majordomo home dir mode rwxrwxr-x
- Added root and deamon to the majordom group in /etc/group
The person who did the setup here is now on vacation so I can only answer
global questions.
