I'd like to know what the "digest" program does. There's a section in
the README entitled "how to use digest and archive", and now that I've
read that I understand it much less than I did before.
I would like to be able to distribute a file that contains a one-line
description of each archived message, including a message ID, author,
date, and subject. Then I'd like subscribers to be able to request
ranges or individual messages from the archive.
Am I in the right solar system? I have my towel....
