One of our mailing list owners reports that a number of subscribers
(but not all) of them, are receiving contentless messages... the
list is moderated, so he is the only person sending messages.
he is sending the mail to his list from Netcom (which uses SunOS 4.1.1 and
Sendmail 8.6.9). We use HP Sendmail 5.65, the standard distribution,
upgraded and patched to give much of the functionality of 8.6.9.
I don't have the slightest clue, none of the back archives mentions
anything of this sort. I suspect that somehow resend is formatting
the messages in a way that these subscribers mail recieving programs
are interpreting the end of the headers as the end of the message.
What can I do?
