# I've just moved an existing list to my server, and set up Majordomo 1.92
# to support it. Majordomo is working (mostly). However, when I send a
# message with `subscribe listname' to majordomo, it replys with an `unknown
# list' error. The thing that confuses me is that majordomo does know the
# list is there. If I send a `lists' command, it replys with the name of
# the list in question.

Does your list name have capital letters in it? See the FAQ
(available from FTP.GreatCircle.COM, pub/majordomo/FAQ).
