You should make sure the script follows the Majordomo file-locking conventions
(see the "medit" program for an example; maybe even adapt medit to your needs),
so that you don't end up with trashed files.
If you'd like to contribute this program for distribution (and I hope you
will), please submit it according to the guidelines I just posted to the
Majordomo-Users mailing list.
