I am (newly) administering a set of lists for someone else. Neither of us
is even in the same city as the system that's running MD. I'm going to
have some interesting questions for those fortunate folks who've already
been there. The first, extremely dumb one is: I've set the lists to
moderated. Now, how do we get the posts (forwarded to the owner) posted.
I thought all we had to do is add approve <password> <listname> at the head
of the text, and forward to majordomo@<site>
This doesn't work.
Is it possible to do whatever's necessary from Eudora? - I can't add header
lines.
I'm an old hacker, but I haven't used perl. I don't have access to the
owner's account/files, though if I have to, I probably could. Do I need to
set up a resend script?
Sorry for the dumb question - but this gives all you folks a chance to feel
superior. ;?) Before you ask - I couldn't find anything about this in any
of the documentation I could find on the net.
