That sounds awfully familiar; unfortunately I did not document what
happened to me. However, when I did "which medit" on my Majordomo
machine, I noticed that I have it aliased:
# which medit
medit: aliased to '(cd /local/bin/majordomo-1.91; \
/local/bin/majordomo-1.91/bin/medit !* )'
(Line break inserted for readability.)
I call medit from the "lists" directory, giving only the listname as
argument. Perhaps you could try something similar?
