Subject: files auto un-linking

Hi!
I have a lot of troubles with list files loosing their link, and thus
de-syncronizing between the file managed by majordomo and the one really
receiving the mails.
I have the majordomo-attended files in
/l/major/lists/list_name
and it linked to
/l/smail/lists/list_name-outgoing
they both reside in the same file system (we have SunOS 4.1.3), and have
the same owner (majordom) and the same group (daemon).
As both files loose their
link, people for instance de-susbscribes from the file in /l/major/lists
but they go on receiving mail, as their address still appears in the file
in the /l/smail/lists directory.
Un-linkings happen when someone subscribes/desubscribes (maybe only when
someone does this with another one's address, but I'm not completely
sure).
Any hint will be very appreciated!
Best regards,
