Hello!
Has anyone configured a (perl) script that handles temporary suspension
of messages for a subscriber?
My idea is this: I set up a special mail alias in the system
<suspend@hostname> that pipes the messages to a perl script.
The commands might look like this:
suspend <listname> <email address> <start date> <end date>
The script sends an email message to the requestor stating, that he/she
will be temporarely removed from the <listname> from <start date> to
<end date>.
Another perl script (run daily by cron) would take care of the actual
subscribing and unsubscribing using a regular message to Majordomo with
approved PASSWORD command <listname> <email address>
The passwords would be read from a similar file as with 'bounce' script.
Suggestions?
