Subject: Using Majordomo for a One-Way List

I'm wondering if it's possible to set up majordomo to serve as a one-way
mailing list in order to get an announcement, etc. out to a large number
of subscribers but make it so they can't have things posted to the list.
I also want to have another list set up where they can respond to it in
the more traditional way (long story why I want both).

I know Patrick Crispen does this w/listserv for his "Roadmap" course but
don't know what majordomo has to offer (am new to all this and see I have
lots to learn!). My ISP has majordomo on its system but I'm told I'm
pretty much on my own when it comes to configuring it. TIA for any info.
