Well, the subject says it all. I have followed the O'Reilly book
exactly, I have read the FAQ. And yet, resend refuses to work.
I am running 1.93 on a BSDI box. Those lists that are not using resend
work great. If I set up resend the way it shows in the book, all
messages sent to the address end up in an infinite loop where they go
into the queue, die, new ones go into the queue, die, etc....
If I specify 'resend -C listname.config' it no longer goes into loops,
but it delivers the message to the list owner with the message that
`listname-config' is unreadable. Naturally, I checked the permissions.
I even went as far as to set 777 on listname.config. Same error. If I
do this:
cat mail.test |./wrapper resend -l list -h my.host list-outgoing
It gives the same error message BUT it delivers the message
for approval. This would seem to indicate that resend is in fact reading
the config file even though it says it is unreadable.
Can someone PLEASE help me.
-John
