If you are unable to edit your headers to include an "approved: passwd"
line as the LAST header, then you should have the following THREE lines as
the *first* lines in your approved message.
---------------------------
Approved: passwd
From: copy and paste sender's email (or listname/listowners address)
Subject: copy and paste original subject

Insert approved message text...
---------------------------
If you're using an offline reader with cut and paste features, this is very
easy. With Eudora I highlight and copy the relevant headers from the
message needing approval, then I choose "send again," which puts the
message into a new mail screen addressed to the list, etc. I think type
the Approved: passwd line first, then insert (paste) the necessary From and
Subject headers, leaving one line of space before the message itself.

Basically, the important thing to know is that on moderated lists,
majordomo DOES NOT CARE what's in the ORIGINAL subject line -- you HAVE to
provide a new subejct line UNDER the Approved header. At least that has
been my experience.

If this isn't clear, write me privately and I'll take another shot at it.
