Hi,
I'm new to the list! I run a few mailing lists, including a moderated
list called Pigdog, and I *love* majordomo.
So,
I just installed the latest version, 1.93, and I've decided that I want to
hide my pigdog-outgoing alias from Sendmail's VRFY and EXPN commands in
the way that its suggested in the FAQ (by changing the name of the
outgoing alias to something not easily guessed, and by placing the resend
commands in a file via the @filename feature of resend).
That works great except that every message that I post to the list arrives
with an "Apparently-To: mysecret-alias" line in the header, which gives
away the name of the alias I'm trying to hide. I'm afraid someone will
get it that way.
Does anyone know how I can get rid of the pesky "Apparently-To:" line in
all outgoing list messages?
Thanks in advance for any suggests,
Zach
