I attempted to install Majordomo 1.93 on my Linux (kernel 1.20) machine, but
encountered something I didn't expect. When I sent mail to majordomo with
just a 'help' request, it sat there chewing up 60% of my memory and 90% of
my CPU, until such time as I actually had to kill the task to stop it. And
bang! I got the response, with no error message. Any clues or ideas?
In the meanwhile, I went back and reinstalled 1.62 (which I ran previously
in the past with no problems), and sent a message to one of my lists for
local users, and somehow, about 15 out of 60 users received DOZENS of copies
of the same message, and it was still sitting in the sendmail queue. What
could cause this?
