My experience as a "newbe" is that the "Out of Memory" error was caused by my
making the file $home/Log in the configuration file a DIRECTORY instead of a
FILE.  Took me a LONG time to figure out what the problem was.  After making Log
a file the out of memory errors went away. :-)
