The Bitnet LISTSERV (and I assume the listserv clones) have Mail/NoMail
user selectable options which allow the user to select if the submitted
messages are to be sent to that user or not. The selection is
Mail/NoMail/Digest. Setting NoMail is the equivalent of going on Vacation
(ie: You are still subscribed but are not being sent the messages).
