local list protection & rcs

	I'm a newbie.  but after reading the manuals for majordomo, I have two
questions:

1) has anyone changed majordomo to keep lists under rcs (or some other
   rev-cntl)?

2) as I gather, it is not (out-of-the-box) capable of making lists that are
   "local lists", meaning that no outside user can initiate any of the typical
   functions (sub/who/lists/etc.).
