Hi,
I'm in the process of testing out version 1.93 on our SunOS 4.1.3 machines
and I've run into a problem.
The problem I'm seeing is my closed list, is not working. A person subscribes
and it treats it like an open list. The subscriber gets in and the owner of
the list gets the message that the user has been added and no action is
required.
In my list directory, /etc/mail/majordomo, I have these files:
aurora# ls -lg
total 15
-rw-rw-r-- 1 majordom majordom 21 May 2 11:38 sample
-rw-rw-r-- 1 majordom majordom 0 May 1 15:12 sample.closed
-rw-rw---- 1 majordom majordom 12035 Apr 28 16:13 sample.config
-rw-rw-r-- 1 majordom majordom 104 Apr 28 15:55 sample.info
-rw-rw---- 1 majordom majordom 7 Apr 28 15:54 sample.passwd
Since I thought I had the list correctly set for a closed list, I went
looking through the perl code and I found in config_parse.pl the call
&handle_flag_files($listdir, $list) in the function main'get_config.
This correctly sets the subscribe_policy flag to "closed", but the while
loop after that sets it back to "open". If I move the call to handle_
flag_files after this while loop, then I get the correct behavior.
Am I completely out in left field?
