Oh, and in answer to several people at once:

The patches are easy to install and worked on the first try for me.
HOWEVER, in order to install these patches you have to have the
ability to edit the Majordomo code files.  If you are only an end-user
of Majordomo and not the actual Majordomo software administrator for
your site, you cannot use these unless you get your Majordomo admin to
install them for you on a system-wide basis.
