I had posted about my problems trying to get Majordomo 1.93 to handle
a sample list - the first one I have tried to create.
Finally I got to the root of my problem - the version of Perl I had
was 5.001 but not the latest one. I then obtained 5.001e which is
better - Majordomo doesn't do me any more core dumps now.
Subscribing to the list works now, however I have a problem with resend.
It doesn't send anything for some reason.
I replaced the alias for the list with an :include: as follows:
sample: :include:/usr1/mlists/lists/sample
instead of using resend as follows:
sample: "|/usr1/tools/majordomo-1.93/wrapper resend -p bulk -M 10000
-l sample -f Sample-Owner -h jaguar -s sample-outgoing"
This way, it worked but obviously I don't get the sender lines etc.
I am using sendmail, SunOs 4.1.1.
Does anyone have any ideas as to why resend won't work?
