Subject: How Large is Large?

Hi All.  Just wondering if anyone has any experience with LARGE
mailing lists & MD.  By large I mean > 1000 users.  Short of trying
to send to such a list, there's really no way to know if it will work
or if I have to chop up into smaller lists.  Any help would be 
appreciated.
