You don't show the group ownership here, but dnd-inet.archive
needs to be writeable by your majordomo _group_, as does
your /var/spool/majordomo/lists/ directory.
I don't know why you can't get the Majordomo FAQ via WWW. My
WWW site lets everybody "in". Perhaps you couldn't reach it
temporarily? In any case, the Majordomo FAQ is sent to this list
on the 15th of each month, and posted to comp.mail.list-admin.software
and news.answers monthly.
