I just got majordomo working correctly on a Linux 1.2.8 system. I found
that the problem is due to some sort of memory allocation bug in Perl (I
think). To solve the problem, upgrade to Perl version 5.001 (unofficial
patchlevel 1l). I found that 5.001e didn't work any better than 4.036.
Majordomo seems to work fine now with 5.00l Someone else posted some tips
on configuring and compiling it a few days ago on this list.
