I need more input, I'm obviously burned out and blind. I've added a list to
an already thriving majordomo installation. The list owner can't seem to get
approval for subscription requests. Subscription request mail is never
prefixed with "APPROVE". It's always "BOUNCE". Can some one point out what
must be my obvious error?
This is a closed list, with the owner clearly defined in the aliases file. I've
checked the syntax of the aliases file, and can't see anything wrong (the entry
is identical to other operational entries, save the listname and listowner).
The listowner can successfully post to the list, as he is the only address
listed in $listdir/listname. I entered the name manually as root, and made
sure file ownership and permissions were to spec after configuring
$listdir/listname.*.
All suggestions (save those involving jumping off bridges or utilizing automatic
weapons) are welcome.
