Actually, I think the FAQ could be more clear. It currently says:
I'll bet your list name has capital letters in it... Majordomo smashes
all list names to all-lower-case before attempting to use the list
name as part of a filename. So, while it's OK to advertise (for
instance) "Majordomo-Users" and have the headers say
"Majordomo-Users", the file names and archive directory names
themselves all need to be in lower case.
but it doesn't tell you HOW to advertise or have the headers use mixed case.
There are 3 points:
All file and directory names must be lower case.
Everything in the <list>.config file will be smashed to lower
case, so you might as well make them lower case to begin with,
to avoid confusion.
The "-l" and "-h" command-line arguments to "resend" can be
mixed case, thus allowing you to use mixed case in mail headers.
