	That's my understanding of magazine-type volume numbers as
well. 
	Annd, after a fast scan of the digest code I don't see
anywhere in the code where it keeps track of the volume number for
incrementing. It is read out of the <list>-digest.config file variable
digest_volume = `n' which defaults to one, when created. So I guess it
is up to you to change it on whatever time biases you wish.
