OK, this may be a dumb question, but here goes:
It looks to me that only the entries in the list that have <>'s
around the Email address are getting mail from the list:
<user@domain.com>
"Joe Smith" <jsmith@company.com>
I use smail, which at least for its lists, just uses entries like:
user
user@domain.com
For one thing, my own account has not been getting mail from the list.
The entry for my account has no <>'s.
I've tried set the strip option on and off in the list.config. It appears
that strip removes the <>'s. Which is correct? What to do?
Is it better to leave strip on, or do I have to modify Majordomo
to strip everything except the <>'s?
If somebody would point me to the RFC on what address formats are legal,
I'd appreciate it.
If this is another smail config problem, I'd appreciate THAT info.
