A Linux machine I help run has a very large WWW server, an IRC server, various
MUDs/MOOs/etc, a Gopher server, and formerly a FTP server, on top of around
30 users. Majordomo used to run on it, until I moved it to my PC.
The only problems are memory and bandwidth. :-)

My PC is a 486dx33 with 4mb of RAM. It handles large amounts of mail with
ease...

Off-topic, yes, but even the most dedicated newsgroups need a break once
in awhile :-)
(my last post on the subject. honest!)
