I spent a good part of yesterday trying to get all the parts of
Majordomo to work, and I can't get the archive program to work.
The specifics:
Majordomo 1.93, SunOs 4.1.3, Perl 4.036 and Perl 5.001m
If I run the archive program on console exactly as it appears in
the sendmail alias, it works. If it gets piped from sendmail,
it doesn't.
The alias looks like this:
domo-test-archive: "|/home/majordom/wrapper archive -m -a
-f net/archives/majordomo/archives/domo-test/domo-test"
If I run it on the command line as:
/home/majordom/wrapper archive -m -a -f net/archives/majordomo/archives/domo-test/domo-test
then it works. But if I send mail to domo-test-archive, it fails.
More specifically, it aborts and complains that @archive_dir is not defined.
But why would it be not defined under sendmail and work from a shell?
Any help greatly appreciated.
