Regarding my previous message on the unknown mailer 139 error on the non-
local machines, i.e mail to the lists work on the mj host but not on the
other workstations, giving an unknown mailer 139 error, I have found the
solution.

I changed the rights of the files where majordomo's wrapper was located
to be readable by others. This has fixed it temporarily. By the way,
majordomo's wrapper test always worked well. At least this has fixed the
problem.

Regarding bulk_mailer, what advantages would it provide? The list I was
mentioning before has around 80 subscribers, so when mail to the list
goes out using uucp, it has been split into three or four copies, each
sent to around 25 different people approximately (I estimate).
Would bulk_mailer affect this at all? Would it encode one message for
all the people on the list? Does it work in our situation? (uucp, Sunos 4.1.1,
Sendmail)

Also, is there an ftp site (and preferably directory!) from which you can
obtain bulk_mailer?

Thanks in advance,
