request-answer

i have majordomo 1.93 running on BSDI 2.0 and am having trouble with 
request-answer. 

Majordomo works great I can subscribe to the list using majordomo but 
my request-answer alias doen't work. I get no error back, the message 
just dissapears? I can't even figure out where to look for problems?
