problem with list-request

hi,
i got a below error message when i try to send "help" command 
to the "listname-request".  this error message is sent to the owner
of the list; and the "Majordomo results" is still sent to the machine
where i sent the "help" command.
does anyone know what it is?  i would appreciated for your help
