It's a beautiful day outside, but unfortunately I'm on the inside looking out.
Could someone please help me enjoy my weekend !

Here's my problem

I just installed Majordomo 1.93 under Linux with Perl 4.036
I have set it up as instructed and (I think) got all the permissions proper.
Directories are set to mode 775 and user and group owned majordom.

When I test using "sendmail -v majordomo", I get the following errors:

WARNING: cannot open alias database /etc/aliases
/etc/aliases: 9 aliases, longest 47 bytes, 267 bytes total

   (at this point I enter:)

help
.

(at which point in about 1 minute I get:)

Out of memory!
"|/tools/majordomo/wrapper majordomo"...unknown mailer error 1

The funny thing is the majordomo help script is delivered to root (from
where I am testing) and to majordomo-owner ... aliased to neil (as an
error). Therefore I know the aliases file is being used to send
majordomo-owner: neil a message.

I have a "Log" file set in /tools/majordomo but nothing has been written to
it. (and yes the permissions are set properly).

My majordomo.cf file is properly set (in the /etc directory - actually
linked to /tools/majordomo) ...
My wrapper program has proper permissions ...

I have read both the FAQ and README and Majordomo Distribution
(majordomo.ora). I am at a loss? Please help !!

Thanks very much.
