Hellp:
I have installed majordomo 1.93 on SunOS 4.1.3 successfully. I have created
few lists and all the users are happy except a couple of them. Here is
whats happening. I have subscribed mary@aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd and the list is
moderated. When she sends in a submission to the list, it is returned
to the owner of the list with the comment saying submission from unsuscribed
user (something like that). When I looked at the log, the log actully
had received a piece mail form may@aaa (not mary@aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd).
SO I suspected that mary's
mailer was not set right. So I asked her to send me a mail and I looked at the
return address and it was correct mary@aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd. I also logged
on to marys machine and sent a help command to Majordom and here is what
happened:

mary@aaa [15]% echo help | mail -v majordomo@xxxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
majordomo@xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx... Connecting to xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx via smtp...
Trying xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx... connected.

But she did not get the help, instead Owner-majordomo (thats me) got the following
mail

This is ...

SO when I looked carefully, I realize that somewhere along the line the domain name
bbb.ccc.ddd is getting choped. This is happening to couple of machines only.
Any thoughts?
