I have successfully managed to install Majordomo. I have created
a "sample" list that I can "[un] subscribe" to. I can distribute
the mail amongst the users of the list.
However, no matter how much I try, I cannot get the Archive
process to work. I have read and re-read the docs and tried
the samples but it keeps failing with the following errors:
Message delivered to mailing list sample-archive
Message delivered to mailing list sample-outgoing
/bbs/majordomo/archive/sample: line 0: /bbs/majordomo/archive/sample... cannot open: Permission denied
554 /bbs/majordomo/archive/sample: line 0: /bbs/majordomo/archive/sample... cannot open: Permission denied
550 /bbs/majordomo/archive/sample... Can't create output: Error 0
I have set the directory permissions to 775 and the file
permissions to 664 per the documentation.
