Well I posted my own problem a couple of weeks ago and got zero
response, so I'll ask again, and maybe Brent Chapman, if you are
out there, you may be the only person who can give me a definitive
answer!
I would like the listserver to be totally invisible. I run a
closed moderated listserver. It is for a twice-monthly journal,
nothing more.
I do not want people receiving a WELCOME TO THE LISTSERVER message
when I add them to the list, with a menu of commands they should
not be able to perform. How can I deactivate this welcome
message?
(If the reply is very technical I can pass this on to the
majordomo manager - so go for it - please!)
