Hi,
I just installed version 1.93 and it works great....except for
one very pesky problem that I can't figure out.
I'm using FreeBSD 2.1.0 on a 486.
When I send a "subscribe" message to majordomo@mydomain.nam
the system sends back 4 messages.
#1 - Message notifying the list owner of the new addition (fine)
#2 - A welcome message to me (fine)
#3 - A status message (<<<subscribed) (fine too)
#4 - An error message to the list owner (not fine)
The error message came from sendmail, not from majordomo (from
what I can tell)...Here is a brief transcript of the error:
553 @mydomain.nam... user address required
Message delivered to mailing list owner-majordomo
The message it's trying to send appears to be a welcome message,
which I already received. So for some reason it seems there might
be some stray character or comma (or something) that is getting
added to the "To:" line, or at least handed-off that way.
I checked the FAQ and didn't find anything similar. Any ideas?
Everything works fine, but that one small problem.
Thanks.
