I sent a request for help out just before Christmas, but got no replies :-(
In the hope that someone may feel sorry for me I am repeating it:
I managed to get majordomo running as far as setting up a test list with two
subscribers. I can get the config file and I can send it back. But anything
else I now send to it as majordomo or listname-request sends back the
following
error:
syntax error at /users/majordomo/majordomo.pl line 234, near "print"
syntax error at /users/majordomo/majordomo.pl line 236, near "} else"
554 "|/users/majordomo/wrapper majordomo"... unknown mailer error 2
I never touched the majordomo.pl script and the referenced lines don't look
at first glance to be wrong. Anybody got any clues? I'm running Majordomo
1.93 and Perl 5.001m.
Also:
What's the difference between using the
listname-request: "|.../wrapper majordomo -l listname"
alias and the
listname-request: "|.../wrapper request-answer listname"
alias?
