If there anyone and/or any documentation on setting up the
DIGEST features in Majordomo? I've spend 2 days trying to
figure it out setting up config file with limited luck.

I have done my due diligence, have searched the
Net with Yahoo and Infoseek. reviewed
this newsgroup back 4 weeks, and found
nothing beyond what is in the config files on running a
DIGEST. The only documentation I have found is what is
posted U Chicago.

==========================

Here are my questions...the start of an FAQ maybe?

Q.What Triggers a digest printing?

Q. Are their any guide lines on trade off of frequency vs Length
for digests?

Q. How are articles indexed in top of digest mailing header?

Q. Do "Moderate" and "Posting Approve" process work the same
for digest as for a regular posting list? Do you set the
config file setting the same way?

Q. Can multiple people "approve"posting yet have only one
person control config file changes?

Q. How do you put in Digest fronters and Footers? Do you use
the same config fields as message_fronter/footer?

Q. Any rules of thumb how much stuff to put in Digest
header/footers?

Q. What is purpose of digest_rm_footer = & digest_rm_fronter =
fields in Config file? Do these just diable
message_fronter/footer field?

Q. How do you set up fronter/footers so get line-return.
How do you cope with have problems setting up config file header/fronter
strings--(IBM-PC clone +Pegusus) if Majordomo
ignoring my shift/return to indicate line feed or reject
newconfig giving error message reading my "enter" line
returns as pipes" |."

Q. Can you disable "who" command so even those people subscribed to
list can't see list of who is subscribed?
