     I believe the directory name should be ..../list.archive
     
     Then all files in that directory are visible to index.

Index and get don't work.  They don't find the files. 
For example:
     
--
     
>>>> index listname
#### No files available for listname.
     
--
     
This is the same for several lists, even though the 
archive files, each with the name listname.archive, 
all have protection 664.
     
Any ideas?
