I am getting this error message a lot:

 >Literal @pcusa01 now requires backslash at (eval 8) line 1, within string
 >merrill@otherhost.com (Merrill Cook)

I assume this has to do with the difference between Perl 4 & 5, but 
I haven't been able to find where this is happening to fix it.  It looks
like it is a string variable that is getting eval'd, maybe... so if
that's the case, how do you handle it?   I can see several places in 
the Majordomo scripts where scalar variables get evaluated, but none of 
them look like they should be having eval'ing our machine name... 

Any pointers appreciated!
