undefined subroutine error

     I just recently installed Majordomo 1.93 on our HP G30 running HP-UX 
     9.04 and am in the process of getting everything in place.  We run Perl 
     5.01m.  My tests indicate that the basic majordomo program and resend 
     are working very nicely, without problems, but when I try to use 
     digest, request-answer, new-list, or medit I get undefined subroutine 
     errors.
     
     With digest I get:
       Undefined subroutine &main::abort called at digest line 300.
     
     With medit:
       Undefined subroutine &main::open_temp called at shlock.pl line 122.
     
     I don't have the exact errors for the other programs, but they all 
     display the same type of error, "Undefined subroutine &main:"
     
     Not being familiar with Perl, I'm at a loss in tracing the cause of 
     the problem.  Perhaps someone else has encountered this problem or has 
     suggestions as to where I could look for the problem.
