I'm trying to install Majordomo 1.93 on a Linux 2.1.8 system
running smail.
All of the permissions are fine, and wrapper is properly
configured. I installed it according to the ORA Managing Internet
Services book, then double checked everything with the FAQ and any other
documentation I could find.
When I try to test it, this is what I get:
ophelia:~$ echo help | mail -v akai-request
new spool file is /var/spool/smail/input/0tgFLK-0005FwC
write_log:received
| from: majordom
| program: send-mail
| size: 89 bytes
director aliases: matched akai-request, aliased to "|/usr/local/majordomo/wrapper request-answer akai"
directed akai-request --> "|/usr/local/majordomo/wrapper request-answer akai" ... send to pipe transport
transport pipe uses driver pipe
pipe: exec: "/bin/sh" "-c" "/usr/local/majordomo/wrapper request-answer akai"
write_log:delivered
| to: /usr/local/majordomo/wrapper request-answer akai
| orig-to: akai-request
| director: aliases
| transport: pipe
Instead of being mailed to a user, the command line gets used as
the mailing address. Maybe this is normal, but it's not working, and this
is the only thing I can see is wrong. Anyone know why, or what else I
should be looking at?
