Make sure that the archive dir. you have set up in /etc/aliases for
that list is the same as the one in majordomo.cf. In your case I think
it should be :
@archive_dirs = ( "/usr/local/mail/archive/sample")

Much appreciated if anyone could tell me why archive and digest
are not happy (do they need to be setuid root on Linux as
