I am getting a lot of unknown host or name errors being sent to the MAILER-DAEMON on my majordomo
server box.
They are being sent from majordomo and look like this ..
Subject:Majordomo results: Returned mail: Host unknown
Date:Tue, 6 Feb 1996 14:33:57 GMT
From:majordomo@hursley.ibm.com
To:MAILER-DAEMON@klingon.hursley.ibm.com

END OF COMMANDS
This arises if anyone sends a request to majordomo ( eg subscribe or list ) with an invalid From: or
Reply-To: field. Rather than just ditching the request, it sends an error to me ! I am getting about
20-30 if these a day. Basically its majordomo trying to respond to an invalid address. I dont know of
anyway around this. Does this happen to anyone else ???
I could send a list message to any volunteers server with my machine name only known behind our
firewall and the message will bounce to MAILER-DAEMON at the list servers box.....???
