Whether or not the list generates a from line for the original poster or 
the list itself is controlled from the list.config file.  The risk that 
you run with having majordomo default replies to the list address is that 
if you run into a bad or defunct address for a subscriber you can easily 
get into an escalating feedback loop involving the bounced message 
traffic.   This is going to upset a LOT of your list subscribers.

Many mailers have the reply all or siimilar function, particularily 
Mozillia in Netscape v2.0.  This allows the same user convenience without 
the risk to the list membership.
