I am getting a similar type of error in trying to install
Majordomo 1.93 on a Sun Sparc station running Sun OS 4.0.1,
Perl version 4.035, and the sendmail version that came with
the operating system.
The specific error is:
sh: 21270 Memory fault
554 "|/ic/nih/Majordomo/wrapper majordomo"...unknown mailer error 139
As in Steve's case, the value for the Memory fault varies but the
unknown mailer error is always the same. The "help" command sends
back the Majordomo help message, but the "subscribe test" command
just echos the command and fails. The error messages are delivered
by the Mailer-Daemon.
The Majordomo manual and FAQ list do not seem to cover this error,
but I'm a newbie at this, so the answer may have escaped
my attention. If so, I apologize.
