I just found the answer to my problem - This is where the MD list
resends mail OK, but administrative operations puke with an "illegal
instruction". In my alias list, there was an entry of:
D'Wayne Smith <email address>
I removed the "'", and MD is now cooperating. Guess it's RFC search
time to get the definitive list of what is allowed in a fullname
field of an alias. aliases(4) was unhelpful.
One assumes that the offending "'" was making Perl puke.
