Hi again,
I am sorry but my last recommendation is only partly correct, since it
was meant to be used in case you have got a normal list with an associated
digest-list.
For a mere digest-list I don't know a solution yet either, but I would
recommend you to open a normal list WITH a separate digest list. How
to do this has been described quite well in the book 'Managing Internet
Informations Services' by Liu, Peek, Jones, Buus, & Nye (authors),
O'Reilly & Associates, Inc.
You can then have your users send usual mails to that normal list whose
'maxlength' value file you limited to the size appropriate to your needs
in its configuration file.
