Is it necessary to do archiving if I do digesting. I wanted to just do
digesting but I get the following error from my cron job in attempting
to digest the messages.

~
Your "cron" job

/home/howard/mallen/tmp/majordomo-1.92/contrib/digest.send

produced the following output:

producing test V1 #1
open(DIGEST, ">/usr/local/mail/lists/test.archive/v01.n001"): No such file or di
rectory
ABORT open(DIGEST, ">/usr/local/mail/lists/test.archive/v01.n001"): No such file
or directory at majordomo.pl line 209.

Why do I need the test.archive file? And, if I create it, do I also need
to create the archive aliases?

Thanks,
Andrea
